Poison Spider Bicycles Shop Information
Who Runs This Show: The Poison Spider Bikes Crew
Do you ever go into bike shops and get the feeling that your mechanic only touches bikes at work? Poison Spider is conceived, owned and run by 100% Moab mountain bikers and bonafide cycling geeks. Roadies, racers, freeriders, BMX-ers and just plain old cross country fun hogs comprise our staff. We want you to ride the trails and enjoy the Moab experience as much as we do!
The Amenities – Moab’s Full Service Bike Shop
Moab’s number one bike shop for service and great rentals from Trek, Orbea, Ibis, Pivot, Santa Cruz and Yeti. We have the largest and widest selection of rental bikes you can find in Moab. Poison Spider Bicycles Christmas Drive helps raise presents for local Grand County families and foster families in need for the Christmas season. Bring in an unwrapped present for a boy or girl and receive 15% off on purchases at the store (some restrictions apply).
Our Environmental Commitment
Poison Spider Bicycles is committed to protecting the environment locally as well as globally. We support community recycling and have our own recycling center on site. At our shop you will also find extensive information on our fragile desert environment and how to protect it while riding and camping during your visit to the canyon country. Poison Spider supports renewable energy sources by participating in the Utah Blue Sky wind generated power program.
Bike to Work: Our employees are paid extra to commute to work on their bikes and save on the use of fossil fuels and parking spaces. Free Poison Spider T-shirt to anyone who institutes a similar program in your workplace. All you need to do is provide secure bike parking and an incentive to your employees. Contact us for details.
Poison Spider Bicycles Cycling Advocacy – Moab & Beyond
In addition to sponsoring our employees to commute by bicycle, Poison Spider supports local trail development. We donate a portion of our t-shirt sales to the Moab Trail Alliance. Poison Spider also partners with local land agencies to maintain and develop more world class riding around Moab. We donate to IMBA and Bikes Belong.
